The story of Iquiros began in 2018, when a group of healthcare professionals and engineers came together in Lisbon with a common vision: to make understanding technological innovations in healthcare accessible to everyone. We realized that telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and robotics were rapidly transforming care, but knowledge about these tools remained fragmented and too technical. We decided to build a bridge.
Our first milestone was the launch of a pilot course on Telemedicine Fundamentals in 2019, which quickly reached hundreds of curious professionals. This success validated our mission and propelled us to expand the curriculum. In 2021, we launched specialized modules in Surgical Robotics and Health Data Analysis, solidifying our reputation as a reference platform.
